Navhouse Corporation Announces LTN-90-100 IRS Sustainment Capability
Bolton, ON – Navhouse Corporation announces that it now offers full support to operators of LTN-90-100 inertial reference system equipment. The Company recently acquired all of Air France Industry KLM Engineering & Maintenance's LTN-92 and LTN-90-100 test stations and ancillary equipment, complementing its world-class inertial navigation sustainment capabilities and facilities.
"We are pleased to be able to work with Navhouse Corporation on this important transition within our avionics group. We are confident in Navhouse's ability to continue to offer excellent product support to our third party customers who continue to operate Litton Systems inertial equipment", said Danny Budding, AFI KLM E&M Program Director, at KLM E&M, Component Services.
Glynn Williams, President and CEO stated, "We are grateful of the confidence that AFI KLM E&M has placed in Navhouse. Navhouse has extensive experience sustaining ring laser gyro-based inertial systems such as the LTN-92. The LTN-90-100 IRS uses similar technology and is still flown on many aircraft throughout the world. The addition of these capabilities is consistent with our vision as a global center of excellence in inertial navigation system sustainment."
As a Level IV repair station with FAA, Transport Canada and EASA approvals, along with ISO 9001:2008, SAE AS9100C and CGRP certifications, Navhouse has been able to provide INS sustainment solutions to some of the world's most demanding civilian and military operators for many years. "Customers can be confident that we will adhere to the same rigorous standards and provide the same attentive customer service that they are accustomed to with this new offering", stated Mike Butterworth, General Manager.
Doug Jenkinson, Business Development Manager, stated that "The LTN-90-100 IRS is used onboard B737 and A310 aircraft operated globally. Many commercial fleet operators continue to find it challenging to support their mature and legacy systems. This is our expertise. Our skilled technical staff take great pride in keeping our customers flying, at very high levels of system reliability."
